What started out as a home project studio in 2000 and has blossomed over the years into a professional grade studio, with 24 tracks of ProTools HD2 recording capabilities. Over the years there have been spurts of growth in the studio. Moving from an in home basement space to the basement of the commercial building we currently in and finally into the 1,750 sq ft, 13,000 cubic ft 2nd floor room. We continue to play the game of acquiring new and used gear to improve the craft of capturing sound and we have never been in such a great place. We are thrilled with our latest projects and are looking forward to many more hours.
Studio 12e was organized and built out of a need for an affordable professional grade recording facility in the Boston area. It’s not always about the sound of all the bells and whistles; it’s about the right bells and whistles. We are here to help capture the moments that are floating by, Put it into the best possible light and help you share the final results.
The studio is located in Waltham Ma. We are on the 2nd floor above a busy drapery workroom and next to a full time photo studio so our hours of operation are 4:00 pm to 1:00 am Monday through Friday and 10:00am through 1:00 am Saturday and Sunday. (All sessions are determined by activities in the building)
